polynSPIRE Project is a research project funded by Horizon2020 EU’s new research and innovation programme, with the aim to demonstrate a set of innovative, cost-effective and sustainable solutions, aiming at improving the energy and resource efficiency ofplastic recycling processes for post-consumer and post-industrial waste streams containing at least 80% of plastic materials. The project brings together 22 leading European research/academic institutions, governmental organisations, and industries and SMEs. polynSPIRE has a duration of 48 months (1st September 2018 – 30th August 2022) and a total budget of 9.95 Million Euros.

The polynSPIRE project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no 820665.
